Summer Booket List - Part 1

The Rosie Project - Graeme Simsion

New (and also first) serie on my blog - Books for summer!

1. The Rosie Project

'Love isn't an exact science - but no one told Don Tillman. A handsome thirty-nine-yaer-old geneticist, Don's never had a second date. So he devices The Wife Project, a scientific test to find the perfect partner. Enter Rosie- 'the world's most incompitable woman' - throwing Don's safe, ordered life into chaos.'

Don was born with the Asperger syndrome and as a consequence he's doing really hard at understanding what other people want, feel or do. He's really clever and smart but also pretty addicted to his perfect ordered life. Rosie is a complete opposite to him, she's chaotic and even smoking what makes hertotally incompitable for Don as a future life partner - at first.

The book is written out of Don's pretty strange perspective what makes it super funny and interesting to read - that bizarre but also kind of exciting that I declared it as my favorite book after the first four pages.

Definitely recommend this to read this summer!
